Every authenticated item carries a tamper-evident QR hologram label tied to its permanent public record. Here's what to check as a buyer.
Point your phone camera at the label. It should bring you directly to the record on this site. If it doesn't load, or redirects somewhere else, that's a red flag.
Confirm the record details match what you're looking at: item description, photographs, condition grade, and certifier. The record is the source of truth.
The label is designed to show evidence of tampering if someone has tried to remove or reapply it. Any sign of disturbance is a reason to ask questions before buying.
