Japanese collectibles trade at auction for tens of thousands of dollars with no formal verification standard. We've been inside this market since 2001. We built what it was missing.

Start with photos and details. We confirm eligibility, tier, and shipping instructions. No commitment until we've reviewed your submission.
Category specialists who run their own authentication programs on the Rinkya platform.
You have the expertise. We have the infrastructure. If you're a category specialist (dealer, collector, industry professional), we can launch an authentication program under your brand.

Intake, imaging, evidence bundling, blockchain anchoring, and a clean public verification page.
UV fluorescence can reveal repairs, varnishes, inks, and material differences that aren't visible under normal light, without damaging the item.
Magnification helps document linework, pigment behavior, printing patterns, paper and film texture, and signs of alteration. We capture micrographs as part of the permanent record.
The seal ties the verification record to the physical object. If the seal is broken or disturbed, that's visible: the record shows the item is no longer in its certified state.
The blockchain anchor timestamps the record hash at the moment of certification, making any future changes detectable. The record exists on a public, decentralised ledger independently of Rinkya — verifiable by anyone, permanently.
No. We require physical submission because the seal and record must be tied to the physical object. Photos help us assess eligibility before you ship anything.
We use museum-grade, acid-free, breathable materials selected for the specific item. Packaging may include inert sleeves, custom supports, and non-reactive enclosures. Advanced and Expert tiers include archival repacking by default. Basic tier items are only opened or repacked if required, and we'll contact you first.
Condition is graded on a visual S–F scale by the certifying expert. Each category has its own grading standard; what constitutes a defect on an animation cel is different from what matters on a sealed whiskey bottle or a first-edition manga. Category-specific condition flags document structural or conservation issues separately so buyers understand both the display quality and the overall state of the item. Grading standards →
We can review signatures as part of an object-based certification, but we don't offer signature-only authentication as a standalone service.
If evidence is insufficient, we may return an inconclusive outcome rather than a pass/fail statement. Final fee rules for inconclusive submissions are still being determined.
The prices listed are base rates that cover the standard scope for each tier. In some situations, additional fees may apply, for example:
If we determine that additional work is needed, we'll always reach out with an estimate before proceeding. You're never charged more without your approval.
Yes, for an additional $50 billed separately at time of publication. Your digital record is also a certificate: permanent, publicly verifiable, and blockchain-anchored. If you don't add a physical COA now, you can add one later at no additional submission cost.
