Presented as Hyakuju-O GoLion, Toei, 1981

Four-layer GoLion eyecatch cel setup with its painted background
From the photographs supplied.
My opinion

A hand-painted production eyecatch cel setup from GoLion, 1981. I would expect this to pass authentication.

Why

Hand-painted on the back of the cel. You can see the thickness of the paint, and some places where the color is carried past the line. The black lines are on the front, which is typical for xerography. It has four layers, stuck. It matches the broadcast frame.

What only happens in hand

Paint loss and damage under the stuck layers. The grade. And the evidence itself: UV, magnification, the evidence photographs, and the surface fingerprint that ties this object to its record.

This is my opinion, from your images alone. It is not a certification: no seal, no public record, not transferable. Your $50 counts toward a certificate for 90 days.

Then the certificate

We examined this one in hand afterwards. It is public as RKJ15778: grade C, six condition flags, the paint the background took with it when it was lifted, anchored. That gap is the $50 against the $250.

The same voice when it is a no

Hand-painted, but the lines are too new for the age of this piece. The peg holes are too clean. I would not expect this to pass.
